drive around for a bit see how you feel

if you still want more power you can either go a homemade turbo route ( which i'm doing, slowly grabbing parts) or go 13:1 compression and get a 280 ++ cam for insane top end performance.

*adding that info to long list of keeping in mind stuff for this mini-me future turbo swap

thanks man, any info on the 280++ cams i can look at, search sucks, wont do less than 4 characters i dont know what else to put "280 cam" wont cut it

more than likely ill want more power but i dunno, i havnt even started yet so well see. id like something that has alot of torque so i can go from like 30mph to 90mph really fast, or 60mph to 100mph really fast, or top out at 130+mph

dude, your in a crx and what i assume are stock wheels, your fast as it is, just make sure when you want that "super speed pass" you pop it in the right gear.

a 280 duration cam would have to be custom made.......

in the real world horsepower is a very realtive concept, with speed laws and traffic lights you really have to ask yourself do u really need ALOT of hp??

i got a buddy with a 2003 accord V6 vtec.... 240 hp fast no? very, but i keep up with him in traffic, and every single turn i overtake him in my golf 2.0 ( 8valve 115 hp.... civic is in the garage) thats a whole 125 hp diffrence!!!! sure on the highway he gets like 6 car lengths on me by the time i hit redline 3rd, but then he has to slow down and i just catch up to him,

its all realtive, 2 cars are side by side, the person that drops it 2 gears and floors it will have about 2 seconds before the other driver even reacts to your move!! and since your is so small, the normal space that most drivers leave between themselves and the people in front is more than enough for a crx to fit

remeber power isnt everything.

where do u drive lol? if you signal its not considered cutting off, atleast in my book, also as long as you keep accelerating i think you should be fine

its the ***** that cut in front with no signal AT ALL and then jam on the brakes that make me wish you can carry a gun in canada....

plus good drivers "feel" when someone is going to change lanes, atleast i do, i'm never suprised when all of a sudden i see a liscence place in front of me, only i make em pay if they dont speed up.

i would use an h23 bottom end with an h22 type S head to get crazy hp from the head and mad tourqe from the bottom but hey... like you said its all opion and space it might take some modding to get it under a crx hood..

i say u start off with a b16, if you get bored of the b16 you could always build a LS block or B20 block and swap for b16 block. or if you want to still be reliable just get a b18c block and exchange it with the b16 block.

well i have 3 D15's, 2 CRX's, 1civic sedan, and a parakeet
1st crx = '88 my daily driver
2nd crx = 1990dx had bad motor, sisters driving it
3rd civic 4door = 1990 rolling chassis with trans
2crx's are drivers, one is my daily driver the other is my sisters for now till she gets another car, the civic is a 1990 rolling chassis with manny tranny, the 3rd motor is at the shop where the civic is, i havn't taken possession of them yet. suppesedly the 3rd motor has a bad head gasket or somethin i dunno, it was bad in the 2nd crx so the previous owner bought the 4door took the motor out of it and put it in the 2nd crx, its confusing i know bare with me

ive got these d15's, at first i wanted to do a ls/vtec but i think im gonna start and do a mini-me swap in something, with a d15block the d16z6 vtec head

i MIGHT MIGHT MIGHT sell the 4g4d or trade for some rims for my daily driver or if anybody wants to trade for a mpfi swap and a b18 block(bare), ive seen the car once, has no rust on it, i cant remember if its grey or tan, but car looks good to me.

I see you guys are asking about the TSI Turbo Kits on our website. Would you guys be willing to do a group buy on them? We can get them for you cheaper!

Let me know.
