when you vtec a motor what is the hp gain that you should expect on a motor. Now i know that for every motor it will be different but is there an average.

SEARCH.... but lets just say this... H23 (2.3L non Vtec) is rated 160hp stock when the h22 (2.2L Vtec) is rated 190-200hp stock so you do the math...

 

For one, you need to give a better title.

Second, How do you "VTEC a motor?"

 

For real... you cant just Vtec a motor. You can do a vtec head swap on a non vtec bottem end. Thats what Im doing... its expensive but its will make a fun DD car.
