hey guys, Im just looking at buying this engine for a conversion, and got a few questions, from these photos Ive just got 2 issues, on the right side of the motor its all black, does it look like an engine oil leak or a p/s pump leak ? the owner says the power steering did leak in the accident.
but looking from the leak where its spread out does it look like it could be a serious engine leak?

And one the photo theres a huge hole in the gbox which apparently the mount got ripped off in the accident it had, would this affect the motors function at all ?could the impact be carried in to the motor and damage it somehow ? motors done 150ks and apparently imported about 2 years ago and 2 owners, the 2 owners are friends, both mechanics, and tell me the car was in very very good condition before the accident . but due to it being half out of the car, couldnt get a compression test done.

what do you guys think ??

 

If your not getting your motor from H-motors, I recomend replacing just about every single gasket, you can. Here is a list, Ive done up, just for h23-h22 parts, list.

But its pretty much what you can and should replace when you are doing a swap
