Oil Leak after Cleaning The Engine?
I've had engine oil grime and dirt all over my engine. It was pretty much covered in black and big chunks of it.
This morning, I sprayed degreaser over it and let it soaked for like 15-20 minutes. Then hosed it off with the hose, spraying directly on it only and wrapping up all the electricals and what not with a plastic bag and towel over it.
After that I turned on the car to let it idle for about 15 minutes. It started to smoke (i think that's suppose to happen, correct me if I'm wrong.)
Then I noticed on the front in between the Transmission and Engine that oil was leaking. My car has already been leaking a lot "because of the oil grime all over it, i always smelled burned oil too".
I'm guessing, it's the rear main seal but I'm hoping it's not. It was just replaced when I got my transmission rebuilt. So can it still be this? Or is it something else?

Definitely not the rear main seal. It's hard to tell in the pic, bit it looks like a leaking distributor o-ring or a headgasket.

What's a main rear seal leak normally look like? I took a closer look at it and I'm thinking it might be the Distributor O Ring. I'll try replacing that first.
