Default Engine Harness???? Which one???

Hey I have a 95 cx honda civic hatchback with a 97 obd2 gsr engine in it. My car right now runs but the VTEC does not kick in right??? I'm thinking that the wiring could be wrong. I was just going to switch up the wiring harnesses. Which one should I use??? OBD2 TO OBD1 or should I just stick with the regular factory one??? I have a p72 obd1 ecu right now. Really need some help to get my car running right. ANYONE??

Just did the same swap recently and worked perfect using that ^ writeup. You'll have to add wires from the ecu to the engine harness for vtec, iab's, knock etc but that guide will get you close.
