usually when i back studs out i use 2 nuts, put one nut on all the way, put the second nut on to jam it, and use the first nut and back it off, it will tighten into the jam nut, breaking loose the stud

if you use a stud removal tool you might ruin the threads depending on where you place the tool!

But i always use the 2 nuts method if i want to reuse the bolt.

use 2 wrenches, tighten them to eachother and keep pressure on the top one, while loosening with the bottom one.

or use vice-grips at the bottom where the stud won't contact the nut anyways

vice grips on the bottom side of the studs

or just buy them from honda they're like 4 buckish each

I bought mine, so the vice grip idea is what I WOULD HAVE DONE if I hadn't bought some
