Emissions state ref bar'd
I've searched and searched, didn't get much except read a grip of stupid posts.
I'm not even sure if this is in the right thread, i assume its a "tech" question.
I have a 97 DX EK hatch and want to CA BAR it. The motor is a 98 JDM ITR motor.
i have 97 USDM ITR ecu, usdm cat; what else do i need? EVAP?

You will need all the OBDII emissions stuff. PCV,EVAP,Cat, O2's all hooked up correctly and the check engine light is off and your monitors set. Any aftermarket parts have to have a CARB number too.
My BAR guy told me to call the ref center and get ahold of the tech that will be doing your car. Ask him these questions because he is the one to answer to BAR.
The referee centers number is 1 800 622 7733. You might have to set up an appointment to talk to him.

thanks.. someone PM'd me saying something about oil pump and vtec solnoid. This **** is a pain in the ***.. another question.. if i was to get all the PCV, EVAP and ****.. what do i get it from? Do i get it from a 99si since my car is an EK or do i get it from a integra since the motor is a type r?
i was assuming all honda emission parts work the same way... so i should get it from a 99si since it will bolt in place??? thanks for the reply..

Either, They should be very close to each other.
You need to ask the ref that is going to do it. He might have a higher standard than I.
PCV is normal for that motor. use that.
EVAP?? I would hook-up the 97 stuff if you still have it.

anyone happend to know how to back pin the ecu turn turn off crank sensor and vtec something pressure? i met someone here on HT that said he was gonna hit me up.. but he never did and i lost all my IM history.. i think his name only had 3 letters..
