Emanage trouble
Hey guys,
recently installed my emanage, with the optional injector harness, everything went well, we took our time and sodered every connection and shrink wrapped everything. The emanage has you tap into each seperate injector wire, tps, power, ground etc... split the vtec solenoid sensor and map sensor to an input and output, and connect the emanage directly to the ecu with the VTM wire, leaving the VTM wire going back to the sensor taped off. Using the software we cleared the original programming from greddy on that system, and reset all of the dials to their "0" position. The car fired right up first try, but throws a CEL, and puts it into limp mode. The cel once pulled is 22 "vtec system malfuntion/vtec pressure circuit" Any idea's how to correct this? I have read a lot of discrepency about the VTM wire....any help is mucho appreciated. I have searched this site for information on an emanage set-up, found not much, so did the vafc search, found plenty but no specific answers
Any help is much appreciated. The wiring should be the same as any piggyback i would think

triple checked the jumpers they are in the correct location. The rotary dials are all set to "0" because I am using the support tool to tune, but even before starting the car we set up a base "0" program with no values entered in anything.
There are two dials not able to be adjusted without the cover off, which I assumed where the vtec cross over points (high/low, low/high) Can I be safe to assume that? We left them alone and with the support tool set the engagement back to 5700 where stock is set

thnaks sry bout hte thread jack
oh BTW it is on a JDM D15B and a P05 ecu ona 92095 ex kit

Sorry for the late reply to answer the problem that I was having, but here it goes.....
I took the vtm wire, that the emanage instructions ask you to just connect the ecu in with the emanage out and leave the wire from the solenoid disconnected, and I "T"'d that connection, making both my ecu and emanage happy. I am not sure why the emanage's fake signal wasnt making the ecu happy. Only difference in that wireing set up, is you can only engage vtec when the car is to temp, just like stock, just like the way you should. So you cant nuke your motor with low oil pressure cause its not up to temp. That elminated my ecu cel and the emanage is throwin no error's. Hope this helped some. Try searching for your ecu diagram over google, I found like 12 different ecu diagrams for the b17 obd1 ecu and combined them all to make a whole one

Set the boost cut setting to 2.95v all the way through. When I hooked up my support tool I kept throwing codes in 2nd gear and up because the voltage on the MAP's reference wire would go up to 4.5v which the ECU doesn't understand. Set the clamp to 2.94 because it only goes in .02v increments and the problem will go away
