Default Electrical Oil Pressure Gauge - HELP!

I recently bought an Autometer electrical oil pressure gauge and I am having problems fitting the sending unit into the block. The unit rubs against the oil filter and will not fit in the block. The motor is a B18C5 if that helps any. If any of you can tell me how you hooked up yours, all the hardware needed, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I've got a B16A and I ran a steel braided line from the oil sender to the firewall where I hooked up a tee that fed the oil sender and the stock sender. I wouldn't mount the oil sender on the block as it could rattle loose and break off causing MAD damage to your engine.

Run a line off the block....

you don't want the big bulky sender hanging off the block that way

you will need a 1/8 BSP to -3 or -4 AN (i forget which) then you will need the SS line for how long you need it to go off the block and mount somewhere...
then a -3 or -4 an to 1/8 npt adaptor don't forget to ground your sender.

What do you use to mount the sender on the firewall?
Also, do you keep alot of slack in the braided line from sender to block, to reduce vibes?

I used some large brake line holders... look like this _()
and held it on from the tee/adaptor

Put some slack in the line and go to Napa and get some kind of bracket to screw into the firewall.
