Im throwing a code for the ELD (electric load detector). I've disabled the ELD on my ECU via the help of crome but im still throwing the code.

after reading some of the archives im finding out that the ELD is directly related to the alternator. last friday i snapped the belt on my alternator and i ran directly off the battery for about 2 miles till i got to my buddies house. anyway i replaced the belt and everything was cool last friday night. i didnt drive at all saturday and come sunday i notice VTEC wont engage anymore....i check the codes and sure enough code 20. would the ELD affect VTEC engagement?

im lost....anyone want to give me some insight.

 

Check everything on your engine harness for a short...
Replace your alternator fuse (If memory serves correctly).
