code 20 on and off ELD
recently i wired up vtec on my 96 DX with a GSR and at first i didnt have the pressure switch wired so it only pulled up code 22 i think and then i wired it in and it pulled a code 20, ELD. before it would come and go after i reset the ECU. i checked the alternator fuse and it is still good and i tried changing out the alternator and it still comes, the ecu is a stock obd1 p72
it has a rough idle when its cold before its warm and it hesitate on the throttle, after it warms up, it doesnt hesitate.

ELD= Electronic Load Detector. It's what tells the alternator how much power to crank out. If it goes bad, it'll make the alternator not work, because the ELD is also what powers up the field coils inside the alternator.
its odd because the alternator works fine and the fuse is not blowing, it just happened after putting this swap in, when i disconnect the vtec it does not pull a code 20 sometimes
