Default egt reading

A friend of mind just told me about egt (exhaust gas temp.) and how you can tune your car a little with it. He told me that dsm's run good about 15 to 15.5 egt. Does anyone know what egt hondas perform good at?

I'd say the egt is more of a safety precaution for boosted cars so they don't destroy there turbos. For n/a cars its not really necessary. Your tune should be based mainly on your AFR/timing.

For boosted cars 13 - 15 is a nice safe range. It all depends where you have your egt.
