I have a 94 cx and just got a 94 d15b with 35K. On the d15b7 there is a sensor on the back of the intake where one of the lines from the evap canister goes. The d15b does not have this sensor so i have a hanging plug and evap line hanging. My car kind of idles rough. No CEL's, but im just wondering if this could cause it to idle funny.

 

the sensor is the evap purge solenoid

 

most people just mount that sensor on the firewall or leave it hanging since it's so lightweight.

IIRC there's a missing vacuum port, so if you want to use it I'd suggest just getting a T bracket and running it off of an extra "port"

 

yes i realized that the port is missing, Weird? Do i really even need it? I fixed my idle problem, my map sensor was loose and was causing a vaccum leak from it.

mine is just chillin got the same prblem its not throwing a code I live in florida so I dont have emissions so all that evap canister is gone out of my car year my car idle rough to. nothing major.
