ECU reading code 13=Atmospheric Pressure Sensor?
I checked out a car that had a check engine light reading Code 13 or Atmospheric Pressure Sensor. What exactly is this and what does it mean?
The motor is obviously bad as it blows tons of blue smoke and has poor compression (about 150-160psi across the board).
Just wanted to know more about the code reading, any help?

I've heard that sometime earlier that was an external sensor somewhere, but I don't know what years that applies to.
Go to a parts website & see if they have a BARO sensor for your year/model. If they do, then it must be external. Otherwise, it's internal & you have to replace the ECU.
How good are you with soldering small electrical components? I've read (somewhere?) about someone who removed it from the circuit board of his ECU, but I don't know where he would have gotten a replacement sensor. Maybe from a similar ECU that was failed for a different reason?
