ECU error code

ECU error code

I have an error code of 2

two short blinks.

Does anyone know what it means? Is it serious?

H22A and an auto tranny!

Its probably two long blinks which is a code 22.

VTEC System Malfunction

Probable cause:
VTEC Solenoid Valve
Open or Short in VTEC Solenoid Valve circuit
VTEC Pressure Switch
Open or Short in VTEC Pressure Switch Circuit
ECU

2 long blinks would be 20, not 22.

So what can I do to fix it?

What is it actually.

I heard it can also be a secondary 02 sensor.

Would any of these force the car into safe mode?

What car exactly? You're in Bangkok? So that's more complicated. Some of that stuff is different for different countries. The Helm shop manual for my '95 Integra says the ELD is only installed in US cars, but the manual only covers North America anyway.

If it was the secondary O2 sensor it would throw a different code.

edit...
You did say at first that it was 2 short blinks. I don't know the list of error codes for your car, so maybe that would be the second O2 sensor? How long are the blinks?
