ecu code 7 TPS
ok I just finished swapping out my auto ls for a b18c. Everything is cool, but I get a mil for my tps. I replaced it with a new one and same thing. Now I did just read in a acura manual that the tps runs to the TCM (traction control module??) it shows this only for the automatic. Where is the TCM and is that the reason I keep pulling a code 7?

Check the voltage on the signal wire on the TPS and make sure its at .5V when the throttle is closed. This could be why its throwing the code. I also think its right around 5V at 100% throttle.

I do not get a signal back from the computer side... I am going to have to splice the plug by the tps to read what it is putting out.
but have you heard of people with auto integra's (obd2) swapping over to standard having this problem? I am also using a obd1 computer box

Hmm ok so the wiring is wrong on the auto to manual swap. Yea that could cause a problem if the TPS is reading wrong. As I would guess auto trannies calculate what RPM to shift at depending upon load for the most part among other things.
Ill try and find out where the TCM is located on an auto car.
