Default Dropzone SHOCKS - Better than stock?

Ok here is the deal...... I have searched and found A LOT of horrible feedback on the dropzone coilovers and springs but hardly any info on the SHOCKS. I already have ground control coilovers that have not yet been installed, but my stock struts are going bad and I need to replace them when I install the gc's. The only thing is, I'm on a really tight budget right now. I don't really care for high performance struts such as koni yellow, tein or Tokico at THIS moment, although I plan to upgrade to a better strut in the future. Although I want cheap, I don't want to sacrifice my ride quality so I was wondering if the DROPZONE SHOCKS are better than the factory struts, equal too, worse, or should I just brake kill bank account and spend an extra $100 on some kyb's?

Knowledgable feedback would be great! Please no negative comments if you do not have experience with this product or do not know of someone who has dealt with this product.

Thanks

save your money and get good shocks.
just for reference; stock might not be stiff enough for performance driving, but as far as being ''better'' they are the best ....best durability and the most reliable.
remember they are designed to last for 100k + miles.

try not to cheap out on suspension products...same goes for brakes and tires. they are what will keep your car safe and agile. Go with the KY-B GR-2's or Tokico Blue's if anything, they are in the business of suspension and know what they are doing.
