Default Draft:ls/vtec tuffy try this one

I am lossing oil pressure Im trowing cil 22 on a p28 I tested the oil pressure @1200rpm I get 50psi if I open solinoid via jumping it the pressure drops and the cil comes on wtf Iv tried everything and I not a noob Iv researched the hell out of vtec trouble shooting.

Obviously, it's dropping pressure somewhere.

Has the cylinder head been rebuilt or disassembled and reassembled recently?

Also, how was the oil feed line to VTEC routed and what was used?

yes but i made sure every thing was right at first i forgot to put in the dowl pin under the #3 cam cap but i got a knew one and put it in but no go the vtec comes on for a sec or two then it cuts out maybe the oil orafaces ? i got knew ones coming soon but the one in ther now look fine

i used a 1/4th to 4an fitting the pressure to the head is fine its like its excaping somewhere in the head do you think if i run air trough that i can see where the oil is leaking. It may be something differnt all together

I would definitely try compressed air to test. this is also how Honda describes the procedure for testing in the service manual.

plus too cold to take it all apart and run air through right now
