do I need new valves?
Ok so here's the background info...I have a b18b1 sitting on a stand in my kitchen, and I started tearing it apart this morning. After I got the valve cover and timing cover off, I decided that I needed to remove the crank pulley. Stupid me forgot that usually requires an impact gun, so I did nothing but spin the crank. That being said, I realized the timing belt wasn't moving when I moved the crank pulley.
After closer inspection, I noticed that the timing belt has fallen apart around the crank pulley, all of the ribs have sheared off. I'm assuming this motor never had a belt change, it was at 117k miles when I pulled it out of the integra. One thing I did notice is that when I first spun the crank, there was compression in the cylinders because it blew my shop rags out of the spark plug tubes, but when I realized it wasn't spinning the timing belt, the crank wasn't turning. Point being, maybe the belt gave up when I was spinning it by hand. Here's a picture of the piston top. It looks like the valve tapped enough to make an indentation on the carbon buildup, but I'm not sure if it was enough to bend the valves.

Now that I've wasted your time, can someone tell me how to check for bent valves? Does it require disassembling the valvetrain components?
edit - sorry about the big/blurry picture...it's the best I could get from so close up.

any slight tap can bend a valve, if in doubt...try and take it to a machine shop and chuck the valves in a lathe with a 5c collet chuck with the appropriate collet size and run them out to check them all to see what youre dealing with...I would not re-use them even if they were still good
