Default DIY: Diagnosis of crank but no start issue with solid CEL

Last night my integra just shut off as I left for work; no bog down or rpm drop, just shut off. So I pulled over and tried to start back up and it cranked and cranked but no start and the CHECK ENGINE came on. I had to leave my car so I could get to work unfortunately.

This morning I diagnosed and fixed the issue in 20 minutes. Here is how:

Luckily the car cut off right down the street from my house so I gathered some toold I might need and walked over.

Tools needed:
-electrical component cleaner spray
-soldering iron/pen
-solder
-multimeter
-10mm with extension and ratchet
-needlenose pliers
-very small flathead screw driver
-computer with smanager for hondata if you have it.
-paper towels
-gloves

When it first happened last night I used the paperclip trick and tried to read the CEL that way.
First you find the plug on the passenger side above your ECU. Looks like this

Next you bend a paperclip and insert it into either side of the small plug as shown

My CEL did not blink which which means no ignition

I first tightened and cleaned the thermostat housing ground

Then I unplugged the distributor plugs and there was some oil inside from when my axle seal was leaking and sprayin it. I cleaned them out with electrical component cleaner and gave them plenty of time to dry before replugging them.

Then I checked battery voltage on the 20 volt setting

The battery was putting out soni began checking fuses with ignition turned to on(||). I ground the - to the battery ground for in-bay fuses and ground to the door hinge for interior fuses

All fuses checked out so I turned ign off then back on and did not hear the fuel pump kick on.

So I moved on the check main relay. First unplug relay and with ign on use the paper clip to jump socket 1 to 7 on the female plug and listen for fuel pump. Then do sockets 5 and 7. If you hear pump you know that the relay is getting voltage.

Everthing checked out so I removed the main relay and poped it open

Then I checked for cold soldering joints, found three and soldered them up

I replaced the relay with resoldered joints and the car started right up.

So there we found the distributor plug was wet and the main relay was fried some.
We diagnosed the possible issues and problem solved. NO MONEY SPENT

Solid check engine light means no codes at all.

Right and the check engine is coming on because the motor is not getting ignition
