Default Distributor problem

Running into an issue with a TD44U distributor (OBD1 VTEC distributor) on a B20VTEC. I have it fully advanced and it will only put out 15* advance at the crank. Freelog says it's outputting 20* and that's what I have it tuned to at idle in Crome.

What could cause such a massive amount of retard to happen from the distributor itself?? It's an internally stock aftermarket replacement (basically Distributor King).

The timing belt could be off a tooth. Could be the wrong cams for the app.

Thanks for the post... I checked both of those things Stock JDM B16 cams and I checked the timing belt.

I'm using a Fluidampr Street dampener, does anyone know if the timing mark is "off" on these things, perhaps?
