Default Distributor Installation

CEL Code 9 went off in my 97 Prelude SH, so followed the Internets ways and bought a rebuilt distributor in the mail. Now is the installation part of it... Ive looked on google, and there doesnt seem to be too much information. All in all, just wondering if anyone could direct me to a website or advise me on how to do it myself. One example I saw required a gun style reader that I don't have, and am wondering if it is necessary.

Thanks..

Maybe find a friend to help you.

ur ganna have to retime it when replacing the distributor, just set it somewhere near the middle and it should be good enough for awhile. Yeah just take out the 3 bolts, and unplug the connectors and it comes right out. Make sure to have a paper towell or shop rag to catch any dripping oil.
