Default damaged plugs

I was just wondering if there could be any reason a plug could get destroyed( the ground hook over the electrodes gone), besides detonation? When I first got my car running I was running n/a, drove it to the tuner and hooked up the intercooler pipe and had issues on the dyno. Went home and checked the plugs and bam they were destroyed.

Went back with new plugs and they seem to be intact still?

Too hot plugs, which caused the electrode to melt off, though that would also mean detonation. Does it seem like its melted off, or mechanically broken off?
