You do know that timing affects it as well right? I say jump the ecu service connector and slap a timing gun onto it and make sure it's at 16*. Your idle is not fluctuating so it should be steady enough to adjust it.

so im suspecting the problem with the dizzy is in the ignition system.. im going to replace the cap and rotor.. i was wondering if there is anything you guys recomend me checking or changing besides cap and rotor and spark plugs and wires

i was wondering if there is any difference in these parts 30102-P72-006 and 30102-P54-006
i looked up by dizzy stamp and it is td-68u : the reason i ask is because the first is obd 1 gsr part number and the other is obd1 b16 si and they are different in price. am i safe to use either?

[TD-68] OBD1 B16/GSR/ITR VTEC 1992-1995
[TD-73] OBD2 99-00 OBD2 Civic D-Series Non-VTEC
[TD-84] OBD2 B16/GSR/ITR VTEC 1996-2001

ill try and post some pics to see if you guys think the cap and rotor is bad

Glad I could help ya narrow down the idle issue.

I got rid of most of my B stuff long long ago,but I think I still have one laying around...Let's try another dizzy and see how that one reacts adjustment wise.
