Default Dish top or flat top?

hey guys,

i did a search on this topic and could not find anything. i did do a internet search and found some very good articles but i figure i would get some insight from you HT experts. i have a H22 that im fully building. currently i have pauter rods, manley valve trane, type s cams, factory crank knife edged and balanced. benson standard bore 87mm sleeves, a egual length ss lovefab full race mani, jg race aluminum intake, factory bored TB to a 65mm, AEM EMS and im going with a t3/t67.i want to stay around a 8.5:1 or a 9.0:1 because i want to run a lot of boost for an up top pull and also to utalize the turbos potential (plus to minimize detonation on pump gas). my question is should i go with a dish top or a flat top. what is the difference and what the benifit of each?im thinking about going with wisco's flat top with the ceramic coating or wisco or cp. i did here the the cp and the pauter do not fit together well with out modifications. please give any insight!

thanks

shane

Given identical compression ratios, flatter pistons usually perform better.

Wiseco makes 8.5 and CP makes 9.0

If you get CP pistons you have to shim them down to fit the Pauter rods.

9 to 1 would be perfect for what you want
