HELP...Solder job gone wrong
So I have had a vafc in my car for quite some time and I thought it would be a good idea to solder it in properly. went out and picked up some solder and a iron....I got all the soldering down but now the car wont start and there is no power to the vafc (or the ECU I believe). are there solders that are not conductive to electricity? how should I solve this problem?
Any help greatly appreciated.

problem solved. I guess I blew the ecu fuse when starting the car prior to taping up the solders...
Thank god, Im off to VIR today....

just a note for future reference...
when splicing near the ecu, keep in mind that wire conducts heat very quickly down to the ecu, so make sure your iron is nice and hot to heat up the spot quickly to allow the solder to absorb quickly as to not heat up any of the circuits in the ECU.
