Either you have a themostat that is going bad, a water pump going bad, or your head gasket is leaking coompression into your cooling system.

but if it was a leak in my gasket, wouldnt oil mix with my antifreeze resovior, wouldnt their be leaks and wouldnt their be blue or white smoke coming from my exhaust, im not getting any of these symptoms, all that happens is when i exceed 70 mph for 4 minutes my car starts to overheat

since your moving down the road at that speed the fans will not come on because of the air flow. so really only leave a couple of problems like a radiator problem or water pump but since it runs cool in town the water pump is the less likley problem and since the radiator depends on air flow to cool down the coolant i would be leaning towards the radiator. check the front of the fins and see if it is covered with bugs and road gunk if so it can be blown out with a air hose and you should see a diffrence.

i have a simple body kit for my front bumper, could it be possible the bumper would be blocking the air from flowing into the radiator, or is that unlikely

i really dont think that would be a cuplret unless the front of the radiator is blocked from the body work but i dont think any body kit mfg would be that lame to do that plus it would not be functional.
