i just recently got my d16y8 street tuned using uberdata. i am using a chipped p28 ecu. while tuning we change my default timing on my y8 to 16* instead of 12* so that it would match up with the computer. i mentioned this on turbo d16 and somone on there told me that i should have kept the stock timing at 12* and advanced it 4* on the program.

does this make any sense, i went back to my tuner yesterday and we took 4* off all of my maps and it felt a little slower, am i losing, gaining anything by mechanically setting my y8 to 16*?
