Cracked cylinder??
Recently thought i was having headgasket problems because coolant was mixing with the oil, replaced the headgasket, and still mixing and burning coolant. so now im leaning towards a crack in my cylinder wall because Ive got some serious blow by, which looks like white smoke so im guessing the pistons are pushing up that coolant and creating the extra blow by. there is definitely a sweet smell from my down pipe, and on deceleration there is some white smoke that comes out and theres a lot of moisture coming from the exhaust too. im hoping i dont have a cracked cylinder but after replacing the headgasket what else could cause this?

Re: Cracked cylinder??
it never overheated, the block and the head were checked for straightness, and both were straight. theres no white blow by until the thermostat starts to open

Re: Cracked cylinder??
take off your manifold and see if you have oil in a exhaust port. you might have a broken ringland. hell i had a hole in one of my pistons and it still ran, even made boost.
