picked up my block from machine shop, they were re-boring it
and that what i saw

and to be honest I don't recall it was there before i took it to the shop

is it possible they screwed it up

 

Highly unlikely that the machine shop cracked it there. It was probably from overheating at some point in the engines life.

 

even if it didn't happen in there why the hell they haven't seen it, normally you would't even start working on block like this

i know its a stupid question but would this block be ran

a small update, just got back from the machine shop, a guy who was doing the job claimed its not a big deal and the block can be ran

I'm not sure if he is right or he is ??

 

Just started looking for close deck block

can you tell me if can I just put everything from open deck block to the closed one, such head, oil, water pumps etc
