what about the h22a1 should all be the same as the h22a cept for pistons. Nice to have all these specs together finally

Would a h23 crank, pistons and h22 11.5:1 pistons work in a h22 block?

Can you use a h23 crank, rods, and h22 pistons 11.5:1 in a h22 block?

you can but the h22 is a higher reving motor than the h23. to me what you trying to do is a destroke . what you might want to do is bore out the h22 to 89mm for the extra .1 liter and have a 2.3L h22. and keep the high rev because h22 are chaser motors

Can anybody tell me if a h23 crank, rods, and 11.5:1 aftermarket h22 pistons will work in a h22 block?

I have a h22 block that is sleeved to 89mm bore and what I was thinking was to add the h23 crank. The reason I was gonna do that is cause the h23 crank is 95 mm and the h22 is 90. Why would that be destroking it?

Wouldn't putting a h23 95mm crank in a h22 block increase the stroke considering that the h22 crank is 90mm and use h23 rods with a 89mm piston. What would you have?

Does anybody know anything about stroking a h22?

i believe you have to use the h23 rods also and at 89mm bore it will be at 2.5L if i remember right
