Default couple of questions

i have a jdm gsr and was just messing around and punched it but soon as i hit vtec it was like i hit rev it did this once before last week but if i turn the car off and turn it back on it dosent do it again know of any ideas why it does it.....and 2nd when im shifting into 2nd and 3rd its dropping out of vtec do you think its cause i have the 2.5 header going into the small civic piping or cause i dont have enough fuel being dumped into the engine cause when i messed with my vafc and adding more fuel to it wasnt doing it as bad but i didnt wanna be adding to much into it and mess something up so id figure id ask and see if anyone knew of anything i could do or if anyone has the same engine with a vafc if you could possible tell me what they have all of there stuff set at. well thanks for any help you guys could give me

Well if your shifting from 2nd to 3rd and falling out of vtec then you might have to set your vtec down a little bit.. Did you have the vafc tuned on a dyno? If is was tuned then it droping out of vtec is what you want since at the rpm you drop to you low cam will put out more power then the high cam and the point where the high and low cam's power curve meet is where your vtec engauges..

And you messed with the vafc.. Do you know what your doing with it and do you have a wideband o2 to test the air/fuel when you changed it..
