Default Consequences of too much oil?

I usually run a few cm over the second hole on the dipstick in my lsvtec just to be safe, (I theorize that i need to make up for the ss line) but are there any problems that could occur with running too much oil?

I hope you mean a few mm. A few centimeters would be a couple QUARTS high.

A couple mm shouldn't be bad.

TOO much will create foaming in the crankcase.

I usually run 4.5 quarts which puts me about a smidge over the second hole. I highly doubt you have anything to worry about.

It takes a LOT of oil to cause foaming in the crankcase, though. You'll either burn it off or use it.

That's why we have a crankcase baffle. So it's all good.
