Compression Test???
just recently did a compression test and i need some help with the test's readings, the results we're
C1 170, C2 152, C3 161, C4 165
what can i conclude with these results?????
its a gsr block with JDM ITR pistons and rings(11:5), b16 head with spoon 2 layer head gasket

Well if you did it correctly with the throttle open and a reliable gauge then I think you can concude that your compression is rather low and that #2 too low for comfort. I'd probably proceed by dropping a tablespoon of oil in each cylinder and repeating the test.
ya thats even lower than stock b18 compression at 9.2, which should be around 180. i imagine you should be breaking 200psi easily. the good thing is 1 and 2 have only a difference of 11%. 15-20% means trouble.
so id go ahead and do like he said and retry with a dab of oil, make sure you do everything correctly, and if it comes out the same again go do a leakdown test to see where youre leaking the most.

Im curious, did you do this while the engine was warm? How many times did you crank the engine?Id say with that set-up,you should be hitting like 250 psi after 5 cranks...easy.Anything lower than 200 could show that your rings are going bad or just didnt seat right.
