Clutch Problem (Won't engage)
Okay, heres some background: My stock b16 basically got all screwed up from being turbo'd. I rebuilt the block and just got it all back in. Started the engine up and everything seemed to be running pretty good. Now here is where the problem comes in. I can put it in gear and all, go through 1st-5th gears and reverse gear, but if I let off the clutch pedal while its in gear it doesn't move. Basically the car won't move when in gear. So I am trying to trouble shoot here. I need all possible problems/solutions.
im having the same problem but im getting a whining noise when i try to let out the clutch. I can move through all the gears but i cant engage. I think i ran the tranny without any oil in it. Could someone please help? also could it be from over filling the tranny (or soaking the clutch? thanks for the help

What was the problem with it? Im having the same problem right now and im hoping maybe its because i only have 1 1/2 quarts of oil in the tranny.
