heres the problem went i start the car in nuetral it wont go into gear but if i start it with it in gear {w/clutch in}clutch holds for a second then i can drive but still shifting is not 100%. is my pressure plate bad or is the whole clutch bad?

 

make sure its not your master cylinder, or air in your lines. But probably time to buy a clutch kit

How many miles are on the clutch?

thanks for the welcome,ive been a member but have been away for 6 mon.thanks for the reply i was going to take the tranny out first, i over looked the master cylinder.you might haved saved me a little time.
