Well i got the new obd1 gsr distributor today for my ls vtec... ever since i tried to use the sohc vtec dizzy which my car didnt start with the actual turning of the motor via the starter sounds wierd.. sounds almost like a dead battery(i tried to different batteries and charged them both with cables)... its like a constant slow turning(whiny sound) Anyways im wondering if incorrect distributor wiring could have done anything or if my main relay or anything is bad... The car has run in obd0 form with this motor installed so it should be cool... When i checked the distributor and the wires to see if i was getting a spark... it didnt appear to work... i have it all color matched and according to my conversion harness the two white wires can be interchanged as they both go to the same wire..
But anyways.. any input would be great to get this thing started..

check all the connections to the starter? sometimes, the 'remote' wire to the starter is not connected correctly.

 

if its not connected correctly it wouldnt turn at all right?

or...it might just be a bad starter...IMO
