Default CLEANED IAC!!! still idels like CACA

OK ... I CLEANED MY IAC YESTERDAY !!! car started up fine , no prblem drove around , no problem,,,, as soon as i GUNED it and took it to 6,000 , chech engine came on.. **** idles like crap!!!!

yes i cleand it with brake cleaner ( i even tried a liitle WD-40 on another i had)

yes i reset the comp!

wat can i do !!!!!

Help a bro out... its a jdm b18c with the stock GSR manifold!!!

Did you reset the ecu after you cleaned the IACV? Also make sure its torqued down correctly and the plug is hooked up tight. Also, why did you spray WD40 into it?

If by gunning it you mean you warmed it up and then the code was thrown, you may just have a bad IAC altogether. If you've cross-checked it with a known-good IAC you may have a bad connection.

I cleaned a IAVC on a DC2 w/carb cleaner and it ran fine for a day then it went back to an bad idle. Solved the problem by buying a new oem IAVC for $180 online and after I installed it, all the problems went away.
