So this has been coming on for a while now and it seems to be getting worse and worse. My check engine light come on about after 15 min it gave me code 43 (fuel suplly system) and it just doesn't make sense. My car idles fine but it's running rich my exhaust constantly popping when i drive.

Can someone please tell me whats wrong i've seen posts like this but no gives a real answer help!! 02 sensor? fuel filter? injectors?

 

Replace your fuel filter.

 

What car/year? How many miles?

 

sorry i forgot to mention that its a 1990 integra ls with 220,000 on body motor was swapped and has about 140,000

 

How many miles on the O2 sensor? It's probably getting lazy...and they do require periodic replacement (like every 75-100k miles).

thanks for all the help i will be checking those things out. it has definately been getting worse idle is getting worse it was at 750 and now it's spiking up to 1500

 

yup you were right it was the o2 sensor i replaced it and haven't had a problem so far
