My check engine light keeps turning back on after I turn it off. The code it gives off is the fuel cap code. So I tighten the fuel cap and turn off the check engine light and it continues to turn back on after I drive it again. Should I switch out the fuel cap even though this one still works well in my opinion? Or should I take it to a mechanic?

 

Replace the fuel cap it most likely is not sealing. 94

 

A few of the Hondas actually have updated parts for this reason, the seal is faulty. Get a factory one and you should be set.
