Default Is this check engine code 61? I need help!!!!

On my B20 ek OBD2 swap:

I got a shop to check the code my check engine light is throwing... well there's 6 long blink and then 1 short blink....is that code for "61:Oxygen Sensor, Heated - Sensor 1 (Primary) high voltage, low voltage, or slow response"?

What can I do the correct this? replace the primary oxygen sensor?

But the shop said it was my TDC? How would i correct this too? Get my timing aligned?

Thanks

You're right it is your PH02S, not your TDCS in the dizzy (that's like a 58)... Anyways my best advice would be to test someone elses (if you can) before you go out and buy another... A lot of times oxygen sensors just go bad... Good Luck

But the primary O2 sensor was practically new...from my 98 civic....i had no problem with it before when it was on the d16 ecu....however for the b20 swap, the primary wires was lengthen....could it be a wiring malfunction?

That may be the problem too but like I said if you can it's easiest just to test another oxygen sensor first... I don't see any reason to rip apart your engine loom if you don't have too, but if you don't have another sensor to test then I guess you'll have to... Before you rip into it, I would recommend continuity testing all your O2 lines, if everything checks out okay then you have a couple options... #1 rip it apart anyway and see if you can find anything that the continuity test missed (I doubt you would) or #2 test or buy another sensor... The reason that I would leave the working on the harness part till last is pain and simple to me... I'm really weird and EXTREMELY picky about wiring (how it looks, lines up, etc), for me just wouldn't be able to make the harness look quite right while it's in the car... If you're not like that as most people are then I guess you could consider doing it first... Well I'm rambling, I'll stop now... Good Luck again!!

You're right. Wiring can get so messy not to mention tiresome. I will borrow a friend's 02 sensor and see how that goes. Thanks!
