Default changing clutch tommorow.

Clutch died tonight, new one came in. ACT Its all on time... Anyways. The old clutch was mint then a oil leak from oil pan got some oil in there, and it slipped for 4 months before it took a complete dump. So i dont think the flywheel is killed.

Pull the axles, shift linkage, exhaust, and tilt the engine on driverside mount.. Unbolt tranny and slide it off. Right?? Basically thats it.

Then the flywheel. If it 'looks' okay should i just sand it with some 400 in a circular pattern, im cramped for time so i cant get it resurfaced.

Then break in.. 1000miles drive real easy city driving, dont go past 4k?

Anytips or tricks that will help me out? I have airtools and a hoist.

That's just a bit excessive. Most clutches are good in less than 200 miles. Give it about 250 miles of "the easy life" before you start to rag on it.

depends on the disc, street discs normally require 500, race disks or puck disks don't require break in at all

its an ACT HDSS clutch.. Im gonna give her about 500miles. Just to be on the safeside.

I did it in less then 8 hrs with handtools and 1 floorjack.. It was pretty easy just alot of work.

Its a animal compared to my other.. I couldnt imagine a 6 puck with heavier PP
