Changing cam gears?
Im looking for a DIY article for changing cam gears, if one exists. I have this link, but thats for a full timing belt job- http://www.c-speedracing.com/h...t.php
Any help would be appreciated!

Heres my plan- please tell me if this wont work:
Im going to mark the belt, cam gears, and belt/crank pully. Ill transfer the marks over to the new cam gears, with the engine at TDC. Ill loosen the timing belt tensioner, and slide the camgears out, and the new ones in, making sure that the marks are lined up on the cam gears and crank pully. Then tighten the tensioner back up.
Is there any reason that wont work?

Well i don't think its really nessesary to mark up that stuff but you can if u want to just be sure they all line up since they all have pre-exising marks. Just take the valve cover off if its not cut for the gears, turn to tdc, move all the stuff that might be in the way (motor mount, hoses, etc.), loosten the tensioner, remove the cam bolt and remove and replace one cam gear at a time. be carful not to mis-align the teeth from the belt-to-crank end while you remove and put on the gears and make sure that the teeth on the timing belt are exactly were they were on the stock cam gears. Then put everything back 2gether. It shouldn't be too difficult
