i have a 92 dx hatchback, when i turn my car on it runs at normal temperature...within five minutes of driving it starts to get hot.if i park it goes back down to normal temp..what do you think could be wrong

 

Have you checked your coolant level or thermostat.

 

yea the funny part is its sucking the coolant but its not leaking or anything

 

Check your head gasket, you could be sucking your coolant out through
there. Would also explain how fast your car gets hot as well!!

 

if that is the case will it harm my engine

 

Not immedeately, but it's sucking out your coolant, and you're loosing
compression. Plus getting coolant into your engine, via your cyliders,
can cause internal rust, and start breaking down your oil. If what I said
happens to be the problem, I would get it fixed as soon as you can.
