Default CEL with Hondata?

I got my Hondata system hooked up and the CEL is on. It has no codes stored and it runs fine. Is this normal?

it sounds like the cable between the ECU and interface box is whack. the connector that is soldered in the ECU may be in backwards...

do you have a pocket programmer?? can you burn a new ROM to test that??

try cutting J1 and returning to stock specs to see if that makes the cel go away.

but i would put my money on that cable between the interface box and ecu.

what stage is it the hondata?

If I click the "error codes" button in the HondaLogger software it say it has a code 23. My "94" Civic doesn't have a knock sensor. Maybe the Hondata ECU I got is from a model that has one? Do any of the OBD1 P28 ECUs have a knock sensor input?

The interface box is working, it runs fine also. If I burn a stock rom, and disconnect the interface box there is no CEL. Very odd. It's an s200 system.
