ok i had just finished my s2k antenna install and had my car running just at idle in neutral when it died. i thought it was just the batt. but it wasn't, im thinking something in the fuel line because it will crank and turn over just no start... when it turned off it was like i had run out of gas but i have a 1/4 of a tank. i also checked fuses and checked everything i could think of but im stuck. please help me
PLEASE i am supposed to go pick up my tranny tomorrow night but i wont be able to with my piece of **** car not running....i guess this is what i get for helping my friend work on his car all day its like i have reverse karma

checked for spark?fuel?is the fuel pump priming when you turn the ignition on?

 

this may sound rediculous but how can i check if its priming? i dont think that there is any fuel getting to the motor-basically no combustion..

 

turn the ignition on(without cranking)and listen by the rear seat.it should make noise.

 

i havent checked but i dont think it is..i dont remember it doing that so what do i do if it its not? does that mean that there is a problem with the fuel pump? im going to check it anyway...thanks man

 

yeah is priming but i also took it out to see if i could find any problems with it and i coulnt see any. i am almost positive that the problem lies within the fuel delivery or something in the fuel line but i guess icould check my plugs too. any oher suggestions? please i need my car by tomarrow..

 

take out the plugs. i thought i had the same problem i bet you thats what it is

ok i have no idea what it is at all, i changed the plugs, checked fuses, checked the pump, checked the dist. and checked the wires....come on please help me out

ok i checked the T belt and it was fine, but then i checked the spark and there was none..so what do i do now??? i have alrady checked the dist. and it looked fine so what should i do?

 

go buy a new ignitor that is the problem if there is no spark and your timing belt is ok

 

check the coil
