my car will turn on but it wont start , when i put the key in evry thing works fine but i cant here the pump turn on or any thing no "tick" noise when you turn the car on ,i cheack out all the fuses and im out of ideas ,whant i could be ?? can any one help ?!?!?!?!

fuel pump relay if u cant hear that sound. But just in case check your timing belt see if the car is still tdc.. the fpr is above your clutch pedal on the left wall its grey big and more then likely held on the wall or a bracket with a 10 mm bolt.

 

im gunna go cheack it right now , ill be back

 

ok i tred to start the car i got my relay ***. main out that is located behind the glove box and when i try to start it it makes ticking noises not one after another like in a random order when the motor its turning, but i still dont here the pump come on , and i juss got the rely yesterday and it still wont work it dose the smae thing as my old relay , so i think its not the realy , and im clueless az hell !!!???any more suggsetion , ill try any thing to get my baby back on the road !!

 

I just helped my buddy out two days ago fix this exact prob.. all you need to do is check the voltage, then if no good get new pump reg. and it will start don't forget to adjutst flow....

 

so how do i check it , where is the pupm reg. located at ???

I just had the same problem over the weekend, but mine turned out to be my alternator fuse. I replaced that but it blew again untill I put in a 30amp vs. the suggested 10amp, but now the car runs fine~!. Soo check your alternator fuse and alternator itself. Hope that helps.

yea it sparks and evry thing it juss i dont here th pump when in have the car on the "on" posion , i here evry thing but the pump

Loosen the fuel filter and have someone turn the car on and see if it's getting fuel. Recheck all fuses. The fuel pump is under your back seat if you want to look there. Where in florida are you?

4christ - start praying, your car is a fire hazard, what you did is not fixing the problem, you need to find out why it's blowing 10 amp fuses, you are defeating the purpose of having a fuse

 

ha ha !! It was right there in frony of my face--Timing Belt Slipped!! I discovered that my angle sensor wire was shorted out.

are you positive the motor is sparking? If not pull a plug and connect it to the wire and look for the arc. Check for fuel by pulling all 4 spark plugs out and and crank the engine over with WOT and look for fuel to shoot out the spark plug holes. I know main relays go out alot faster in warmer weather. hope this helps with your diagnosing.

 

First of all, I need to know what kind of car you have. If it is an Integra, the Main Relay should be located underneath the steering column and fuse box inside the car. If you are replacing relays underneath the glove box, you are probably replacing the radiator fan relay.

When the car is turn to the on position you should hear the fuel pump prime the lines. If you do not hear the pump, you should check the main relay. If you replaced it and still does not hear the fuel pump, check to see if you get power to the fuel pump. The fuel pump can be accessed by removing the rear seats and removing the fuel pump lid.(Let me know if you need for me to explain testing voltage. Usually a test light should do. Just turn the key to the On position) If you want to skip this, you can do the other test. Turn off the car and loosen the fuel line that is attached to the fuel filter on the side that is going to the fuel rail. Have a friend turn the car to the on position to see if any fuel leaks out. If no fuel, then check the main relay and then check the pump.

Spark is not an issue at this moment, because you can have alot of spark, but if you get no fuel, your car will not start.

And another thing Chris, when you are asking for help, please take the time and calmly write down the details. It's difficult to diagnose any problem with vague descriptions.

 

omg ! i found the daym problem , it was right thier in frunt of me , the problen turnd out to be a fryed ECU , now aint a B , all thiz time i was cheacking my fuel pump and lines and what now , and it turnd out to be a stupid blown ecu , wll now i knoe how to check all the fuel stuff guys , i just whant to say thank you to all thet help me , thanx
