car won't idle...
ok so after working out some oil and coolant leaks i finally crank my bitch up and had it running for a few 5 min intervals. The car will only run with me controlling the gas pedal, and as soon as i let off it stalls. I was running my ob2 b16 ecu ( i need a basemap burned for my hondata) The only engine codes i threw were code 54 (crank. fluck. sensor) and code 6 (low coolant). The code 54 makes sense to me cuz i am running a obd 1 block with my obd 2 head and the obd 1 block doesn't use a cfk sensor.
so anyway, why can't i get this thing to idle?
off the top of my head i am guessing i might have the injector harnesses wrong, or because of the code 54... anyone else have any guesses..thanks

bump... car still won't hold idle, injector harnesses are in correctly as well as ignition wires. Is it possible to put the distributor in a 180 degrees the wrong way, could this be the possible cause?
what kind of hondata system are you using?

that's a small list of the things that helped me fix my fluctuating idle

Pills i have a p72 hondata 2b, only problem is that i'm not running it yet. I am running my stock obd 2 00' si ecu until i break in the motor and bring the hondata to get tuned. I can get the car to idle, but i have to adjust it almost everyday depending on the change in weather. BTW my hondata is used and the last base map is for a h22 turbo w/ 850cc injectors. I have a 00' b16a2 head, 94' b18c1 block sleeved w/ forged internals, jrsc @ 6-7 psi
