CEL # 43...need a little help...
This morning my car decided that it wanted to give me a good old code #43 as I was driving on my way to work. I also have a surging idle, the car will idle fine for a little while, then surge to 1400-->700-->1400-->700, you get the idea...then it may go back and idle just fine again.
I have a P28 based Hondata, HyTech header and exhaust, AEM FPR...
Code #43 - Fuel Supply System defective or malfunctioning fuel supply system
I was also told that it could be that my primary O2 sensor is malfunctioning and throwing me into open loop so that I'm only running off the program in the ECU...any other ideas?
Thanks,
Austin

The idle and the code 43 may not be related. Hunting idle is not uncommon with Hondata systems if the idle parameters (particulary the IACV duty cycle) has not been tuned.
AFA code 43...is your gas cap on tight?
BTW-That HyTech exhaust is BITCHIN!
I read your posts in the Type R forum.

Thanks Sonny...I'll have to ask Lawrence on that one.
It appears that both the hunting idle(which was never there before this weekends running of NHRA import drag) and the code 43 are intermittent problems...went to lunch and both of the problems weren't there, wonder why?
