Default Car shakes when accelerating..ONLY when accelerating? DETAILS INSIDE...

OK...for like the past half year i've been getting this vibration in my car when i step on the gas, even lightly...it happens worse at around 60MPH, but can be felt lower or higher...and recently it's gotten a lil worse...well, i'll start off by telling u what NOT it is:
1.) not the rims or tires, becuase i have new rims and tires, and even before i got the new rims, i was on stocks for a while and still having the problem...
2.) it's not an alignment..i had one of those recently...also the car is NOT dropped, and has the factory springs and stocks (99 EX w/ b16 swap)
3.) not the rotors or brake pads, because those have been swapped out too ( at least the front ones have, the rear are stock drums)

now, with all that said, the only thing left that i can think of is either a suspension problem,a steering ploblem, or axles maybe, even though when i push the clutch in and just cruise, it doesn't shake (axles and wheels are still spinning, but no shake) while cruising it doesn't really shake, but feels kinda unstable, like flexy, hard to describe, but it kinda feels a little flimsy...

now that i think about it, there is a tear in a little rubber boot under my suspension linkage, the one that connects the rotor/wheel assembly to the linkage, just above that nut with the little pin that goes through it...could this be the cause? is there oil or sumthin in there that may have dried out? please help me out guys, i've had this problem for a while now, and i'm just beggining to realize it's having an effect on my tire wear.

Check all your engine mounts. If worn or bad they could leave the engine a little loose and under a load such a accelerating it will rock and shake.

could it be the motor mounts? because i do have one (lower tranny mount) that's not really connected..it's only held on w/ one screw...could that be the prob? but it's been like that since before the problem started happening....ell, i can't rule that out so i'll check that too....thanx!

might be your CV joints, mine were broken one time, or going bad, and whenever i would accelerate in my GSR, the whole car would shudder....

Usually on Honda/Acura vehicles with a vibration under load the problem is the inner c.v. joints. Outer c.v. joint problems usually surface as a clicking noise on turns.

I'd point to the inner CV joint also. But check your tierod ends and steering rack, along with your motor mounts.

Try this once: Put your car in gear (not started), and stand in front of it while pushing and pulling looking for excess motor sway....might uncover something.

Yes. Each axle has an outer (at the wheel) and an inner (at the trans) CV joint.
As others have said, your symptoms indicate worn inner joints.

Ditto, for me. Funky, but true. Common logic would suggest that it should do it whenever the axle is spinning. I never saw what the real cause was, but it went away when the axle was replaced. Since the axle is "loaded" when accelerating, I guess somebody in there was stressed and the vibration was the bitching. Too bad women don't vibrate when they are stressed!
